AVONDALE, LA - Brothers Brooks and Chase Koepka will team up in the new format for the Zurich Classic next week on the PGA Tour.
The new two-man team format at the 2017 Zurich Classic of New Orleans will feature Foursomes (alternate shot) during the first and third rounds and Four-Ball (best ball) during the second and fourth rounds. The starting field will consist of 80 teams (160 players). Each of the top available players from the PGA Tour Priority Rankings who commits to the tournament will choose his partner, who in turn must have PGA Tour status unless he is chosen as a tournament sponsor exemption.
Both Brooks and Chase started their professional golf journey on the Minor League Golf Tour. Brooks winning 4 of the 8 events he played in including the $10,000 first place check in the 2012 MLGT Tour Championship. Chase turned pro in June 2016 winning his first event at Atlantis Country Club. He has gone on to win 9 times since then in 23 events including 2 Web.com Q-School contests (2016 and 2017) and Major III in 2016.
