PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – Brooks Koepka of Lake Worth made seven birdies on the back nine Monday and parred all nine holes Tuesday while winning a Golfslinger.com Tour event on the Estate course at PGA National.

Koepka shot 67-69—136, six under par for the distance, to win by three strokes over Ryan Armour of Jupiter after they shared the first round lead. Second among 47 starters, Armour closed on 72—139. In the first round, Koepka birdied Nos.10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 17 and 18 and made a double bogey at the par-4 16th. He had two birdies on the front nine each day.

Golfslinger officials converted the course to a par-71 by changing the fifth hole to a par-4. Before the course was renovated a few years ago, the present fifth hole was the short par-5 opening hole.

It was Koepka’s fourth Golfslinger win, including the Tour Championship in December. He received $2,000 from the $14,213 purse. Koepka was a high school state champion at Cardinal Newman and earned multiple all-Atlantic Coast Conference honors at Florida State University.

The final tournament of the month and 32nd this year is scheduled Friday at the Champions Club in Stuart.
