VENICE, Fla. - Minor League Golf Tour employee, Nicole Sakamoto, shoots rounds of 72-78-73-72 for a total of 295 and earns a spot into final stage of qualifying school for the LPGA Tour. Stage 2 was contested in Venice, FL at Plantation Golf and Country Club October 19-22. Nicole finished in a tie for 74th place out of 190 women. The top 80 and ties advanced to final stage.
Nicole will compete at final stage November 27 - December 3 at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, FL. Congratulations Nicole and good luck fighting for your LPGA Tour card at final stage!
Nicole has worked with the MLGT in the winter months (her offseason) for the past 3 years while chasing her dream of playing on the LPGA Tour.
