PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Philippe Gasnier of Rio de Janeiro,
Brazil, birdied the second playoff hole Monday to win a Minor League
Golf Tour event on the Estate course at PGA National.

After Gasnier and Brad Adamonis of Davie matched three under par
69s, the Brazilian sank an eight footer for the win at the par-4
second hole. Moments earlier, Adamonis' 12-foot birdie putt hung on
the right lip of the hole. Each had made par-5 at the first extra
            hole.

Gasnier, earning his first MLGT victory, forced his way into the
playoff with birdies at the 17th and 18th holes. Overall, he made
six birdies and three bogies, earning $340 from the $1,120 purse.

Adamonis eagled the par-5 11th hole, made five birdies and two
double bogeys. He won a MLGT event March 8 at the Links at Madison
            Green in Royal Palm Beach.

The 17th event of the season drew 14 starters. Next on the schedule:
            April 8, Inverrary CC-East, and April 18-19, PGA National-Estate.
