PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Nick Cook of Shelton, Conn., won his third Minor League Golf Tour event Monday with a four under par 68 on the Estate course at PGA National.

Cook made six birdies and two bogies on the course playing its full 6,700 yards, earning $350. He claimed back-to-back MLGT victories late last year, Nov. 28 at the Florida Club, Stuart, and Dec. 2 at Inverrary Country Club, Lauderhill.

During play, the Estate staff moved out of its temporary facilities into a new clubhouse. While the 28-player field played the course in its old rotation, the new alignment of holes makes the old par-4 15th hole the new first hole.

Next on the MLGT schedule: April 3, Florida Club, Stuart, and April 7, Links at Madison Green, Royal Palm Beach. For information and entry, call Jay Slazinski, 561-319-8460, or go to www.minorleaguegolf.com.
