ROYAL PALM BEACH, Fla. - Jimbo Fuller of Muskogee, Okla., fired a one under par 71 Wednesday at the Links at Madison Green for his first victory on the Minor League Golf Tour.

Fuller birdied the 11th, 12th and 15th holes for a one-stroke margin. Earlier in the day, he made triple bogey at the par-4 third hole, birdied the sixth and eighth and bogied the 10th before beginning his furious finish. He earned $300 from the $1,140 purse.

Tied for second at 72 were Floridians Rolf Remus of Delray Beach and Richard Terga of Miami. Each one bogied the par-4 18th hole to miss a chance for a playoff.

Next on the MLGT schedule: May 24-25, Florida Club, Stuart, and June 1-2, Hammock Creek GC, Palm City. For information and entry, call Jay Slazinski, 561-319-8460, or go to www.minorleaguegolf.com
