One person and one person only handled the media responsibilities for the Minor League Golf Tour. His name is Larry Bush and golf ran through his blood.

Larry covered golf in Palm Beach County for more than 60 years. He started working for the Palm Beach Post in 1958. Bush also worked for newspapers in Tampa, Fort Pierce and Cocoa before becoming a freelance writer in 1981.

For 17 years from 2005-2021 Bush covered every single MLGT event. Nearly 2,000 events.

Larry fought health problems for the last couple of years but never once missed covering a MLGT event. Numerous times he would call from the hostpital saying he would get to our event as soon as he got home.

Larry was born on December 5, 1933 in Wellsboro, PA. He died peacefully in his sleep on Thursday March 18, 2021. He was 87 years young. Bush is survived by his wife, Meredith, and daughters Elizabeth and Linda.

Larry will be missed by a lot of people, especially all of us at the MLGT.
