For the past 22 years, the Minor League Golf Tour has remained steadfast in its mission: to provide an affordable, professional training ground for golfers aspiring to compete on the PGA Tour, Korn Ferry Tour, and other status tours. Thousands of players have competed on the MLGT, and hundreds have advanced to the next level. Yet, one player stands out.

Eric Cole. Where do we begin? Words can't express how proud everyone at the Minor League Golf Tour is of his achievements. We had the privilege of witnessing his exceptional talent long before the world took notice.

Eric turned professional in 2009. While he participated in numerous mini-tour events, the majority of his career for over a decade was spent competing on the Minor League Golf Tour. During that time, he amassed 59 victories, including 3 Tour Championships, and became one of the most dominant players in the history of the MLGT. It would have been easy for anyone to feel discouraged or frustrated after such sustained success without reaching a higher level, but Eric never wavered. He never doubted his abilities and knew he could compete with the best in the world.

Since earning his PGA Tour card two and a half years ago, Eric has made 60 cuts in 87 events, including 13 top-10 finishes, two third-place finishes, and two runner-up results. He has earned more than $10 million in prize money and has ranked as high as 37th in the world. In 2023, he was honored as the PGA Tour Rookie of the Year. Yet, despite his remarkable success, he remains the same down to earth, respectful and humble individual that we knew back when he played every week on the MLGT with a few hundred dollars to his name.

While we are proud seeing any MLGT player reach the next level, Eric Cole has been an integral part of the MLGT fabric for 17 years. To celebrate his success and character, we are unveiling a new logo that serves a dual purpose: to honor Eric's achievements as a professional golfer and to pay tribute to the character he displays day in and day out. This logo also symbolizes a message of perseverance and belief in oneself. No matter the dream, whether to become a professional golfer, advance in your career, or achieve a personal goal, never doubt your potential. Keep working hard, and strive to be the best version of yourself.
