Hainan Island, CHINA - Seven time MLGT winner Jordan Gumberg from Fort Lauderdale, FL fired 269 (64-66-69-70) to win the Hainan Classic by one for his 2nd victory on the DP World Tour! This win jumps him to 15th on the Race to Dubai points list as he chases a PGA Tour card through the DP World Tour. The top 10 players on the final Race to Dubai points list who are not otherwise exempt earn a PGA Tour card for the following season.
Gumberg needed a miracle at the end of 2025 just to retain his card on the DP World Tour for 2026. He came to the last hole of the last event of the year needing an eagle on the par-4 to retain his card. He holed out from the fairway for that eagle just to retain status for 2026! He made the most of it winning this week to put himself in the running for a coveted PGA Tour card for 2027!
