ATLANTIS, Fla. - Michael Chipolone from Boca Raton, FL, wins the Minor League Golf Tour's Web.com Q-School contest #4 by two shots over Vincent Whaley. The contest consisted of back to back 2-day events with the low 4-day total score winning a full paid entry into 2017 Web.com Q-School.

Chipolone won the first 2-day event at Hammock Creek GC with a 6-under par total of 138 (68-70). Chipolone shot 71 in the 3rd round at Atlantis CC to carry a 3 shot lead (-7) over Vincent Whaley (-4) into the final round. They both went out in 3-under par 33 on the front nine in round 4 to seperate themselves from the field. With 6 holes to play, Whaley got within 2 shots but Chipolone and Whaley traded bogies at holes 14, 15 and 16. Whaley birdied the final hole to get within one but Chipolone knocked in his birdie putt as well to win by 2 and have his 2017 Web.com Q-School entry fee paid by the Minor League Golf Tour.

The Minor League Golf Tour's Web.com Q-school Contest #5 will take place August 7-10. One full paid Web.com Q-school entry fee is guaranteed at any number of players. Any number over 25 players will go towards the 2nd place finishers Web.com Q-school entry fee, and if 50 players participate, 2 full paid Web.com entry fees will be paid.
