SEBRING, Fla. - Ryan Snouffer from Sparta, NJ came from 4 shots back to win the 2021 Sunshine State Classic presented by Visit Sebring. His 54 hole total of 203 (67-72-64) was good for a 2 shot win over Andrew Jung.
Snouffer started the final round 4 shots behind 36 hole leader Jimmy Dales (a). Dales struggled on the front nine with 39 while Snouffer came out strong birdying 3 of the first 4. Snouffer would then birdie 11, 14, 15, 16 and 17 to get to -13 and 2 clear of the field with one to play. A par on the last secured the victory. It was Snouffer's first win since turning pro in 2016.
Talented 18 year old Andrew Jung came of blazing during the final round with 7 birides and no bogeys. His final round 65 got him to -11 but it wasn't quite enough to catch Snouffer.

SEBRING, Fla. - Amateur Jimmy Dales from Northville, MI birdied the final hole to break out of a tie for the lead entering the final round. He leads Michael Buttacavoli by one on the Deer Run course at Sun 'N Lake Golf Club.
Chase Jones and Jason Thresher are tied for 3rd entering the final round at 7-under par 137. Round one leader Chris Wiatr shot a second round 72 and will enter the final round 3 shots back.
SEBRING, Fla. - Chris Wiatr from Woodbury, CT was +1 through 8 holes and still finished with a 6-under par 66 and the first round lead. He proceeded to make birdies on 9,10,11,14,15 and a hole out eagle on the par-4 16th.
A trio of players are right on Wiatr's heals with rounds of 67. Ryan Snouffer, Chase Jones and amateur Jimmy Dales will enter the second round one back.
The top 40% (15 and ties) will make the 36 hole cut. After round one 16 players are at 70 (-2) and better.
