
PORT SAINT LUCIE, Fla. - Mickey DeMorat from Merritt Island, FL fired 192 (62-67-63) to win the Saint Lucie County Open presented by Arise. He shared the opening round and the 36 hole lead and never looked back in the final round. In the final round DeMorat started out firing birdying the first two holes. He then made five in a row from holes 7-11 and built up a four shot lead that he would not relinquish. Mickey earned $6,500 from the $30,060 purse for his 6th win on the MLGT.

PORT SAINT LUCIE, Fla. - Mickey DeMorat from Merritt Island, FL and Todd Duncan from Daniels, WV share the lead at 129 with 18 holes to go. Duncan made the biggest move on Tuesday with a tournament tying low round of 62 to vault him up the leaderboard. DeMorat played steady golf firing a 5-under par 67 to remain atop the board.
Stephen Franken, Samuel Anderson and Olin Browne Jr. are just one shot back heading into the final round.
The low 40% (20 plus ties) made the the cut and will play Wednesday's final round. 20 players exactly made the cut which fell at 7-under par 137.
PORT SAINT LUCIE, Fla. - Mickey DeMorat from Merritt Island, FL and Stephen Franken from Raleigh, NC matched 10-under par 62's on day one to share the lead of the Saint Lucie County Open presented by Arise. They were one shot off the course record held by Stephen Franken from our Q-School Contest here last September where Franken shot a final round 61 to come from behind and win.
Samuel Anderson, Olin Browne Jr. and Marc Mazza are tied for 3rd after opening rounds of 65.
