CALEDON, Ontario - MLGT winner Bud Cauley from Jacksonville, FL fired 263 (69-63-66-65) to win the RBC Canadian Open on the PGA Tour! The win moved Cualey to 28th in the FedEx Cup standings and 40th in the world ranking
In June 2018 Cauley was in a life threatening car accident that put his promising golf career on hold. He never gave up and after years of rehabilitation he returned to the PGA Tour in 2024. During an off week Cauley teed it up in a 2-day MLGT event at Deer Creek on August 19, 2024. He fired 129 (66-63) to win by two shots over Alan Wagner.
