BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. – Jimmy Lytle of Ocean Ridge birdied the first four holes, then held on for a 64 and a one-stroke victory Monday in a Golfslinger.com Tour event on the South course at Quail Ridge Country Club.
After his fast start, Lytle added birdies at Nos. 8, 9 and 10 before the “fun” began. He made triple bogey at the par-4 11th hole, hitting shots both out of bounds and unplayable, birdied the 12th and 14th, eagled the par-5 15th by holing a fairway wedge shot, then parred in the last three holes for 30-34—64.
It was Lytle’s 33rd Golfslinger win, his first since March 22. He earned $1,000 from the $2,800 purse. Tied for second at 65 among 18 players were Paul Scaletta of Jupiter and Mike Buttacavoli of Miami. Each received $450.

There was $60 in the skins pot with 8 skins out worth $7.50 each.
