STUART, Fla. – Jhared Hack of Sanford birdied the 18th hole two days in a row for a two-stroke victory Friday at the Champions Club at Summerfield in the first “major” of the year on the Golfslinger.com Tour.
After consecutive five under par 67s, Hack collected $10,000 to raise his career earnings to $14,005. He made seven birdies and two bogeys each day and had back-to-back birdies at the par-5 fourth, par-3 sixth and par-4 14th holes as well as the par-5 18th. It was his fourth Golfslinger title, his second this year.
At 134, Hack finished two up on Sunny Kim of Palm Beach Gardens (69-67), Ryan Armour of Jupiter (68-68) and Ireland’s Stephen Grant (65-71). Tied for second in the 59-player field, they collected $2,583.34 apiece. Kim ranks fourth all-time with 29 career Golfslinger victories.
There was $270 in the Day 2 skins pot with 4 skins out worth $67.50 each.

The Golfslinger Tour has three 18-hole tournaments scheduled next week: Monday, TPC Eagle Trace, Coral Springs; Wednesday, West Palm Beach GC; and Thursday, Martin Downs, Stuart.
