PALM CITY, Fla. - Derrick Bohannon of Shelbyville, Ky., fired a four under par 67 on Friday at Martin Downs Country Club to claim his 24th victory on the Golfslinger.com Tour.
Bohannon, whose Florida home is here in Palm City, bogeyed the third hole, then made birdies at Nos. 5, 8, 10, 16 and 18. He received $700 from the $2,886 purse, raising his career earnings to $95,283.75 since he joined Golfslinger in May, 2006.
Golfslinger's 74th tournament of the year drew 24 starters. The Tour has a 36-hole event scheduled Monday and Tuesday at Fountains Country Club, Lake Worth, followed by an 18-hole tournament next Friday on the Estate course at PGA National.
There was $110 in the skins pot with 6 skins out worth $18.34 each
