LAKE WORTH, Fla. – Jordan Meltzer of Melville, N.Y., fired a nine under par 63 Tuesday at Winston Trails Golf Club, just a day after his twin Brandon won the Golfslinger event at the President Country Club in nearby West Palm Beach.
Meltzer finished 3 shots ahead of Greg O'Mahony of Tequesta and 4 shots better than Eric Cole of Orlando, Brad Gehl from Carmel, IN and Joe Latowski of Port Saint Lucie, who tied for third with 5-under par 67's.
Jordan Meltzer received $855 from the $4,572 purse. Both Metlzers played their first Golfslinger tournament back in January, 2007 as 16 year old amateurs.
