LAKE WORTH, Fla. – Andy Golden of Davie won his second straight tournament on the Golfslinger.com Tour with a three under par 69 Monday at The Falls Country Club. Golden had a bogey and a birdie at the third and eighth holes to turn in 36, then birdied Nos. 10, 11, 15 and 18 and bogeyed the 14th to win by three strokes, following up his victory last Thursday at North Palm Beach CC. Since December, 2008, Golden has four wins and earnings of $20,030, including $600 from the $2,000 purse Monday.
Will Coleman of Kensington, MD, Jordan Elsen of Kenosha, WI, Alex Medinis of Ft. Myers, and Marc Turnesa of Rockville Centre, NY tied for second place at even par 72.
The 58th tournament of the year drew 15 starters, four of whom tied for second at par-72. Next on the schedule: Wednesday, Jacaranda GC-West, and Thursday, Winston Trails GC.
