PLANTATION, Fla. – Eric Cole of Orlando did not make a bogey in posting a three under par 68 Tuesday for his 23rd victory on the Golfslinger.com Tour. He birdied the third, ninth and 10th holes on the East course at Jacaranda Golf Club and won by three strokes. Cole received $560 from the $2,457 purse, boosting his career earnings to $61,990.72. He won his first Golfslinger title on his first start in June, 2009.
David Schuster of New York, NY tied for 2nd with Stephan Jaeger from Munich, Germany. Jeager had full WEB.com Tour status in 2013.
The 113th Golfslinger tournament of the year drew 21 entries. Eight more events are scheduled in December before the Christmas holidays starting Monday on the Palmer course at PGA National then the Tour Championship on Wednesday-Thursday at Abacoa.
