PALM CITY, Fla. – Sunny Kim of Palm Beach Gardens made five straight birdies on the front nine Monday at Hammock Creek Golf Club enroute to a seven under par 65 and his 37th victory on the Minor League Golf Tour.
After he birdied 2 through 6, Kim bogeyed the eighth and 14th holes among birdies at 9, 10, 13 and 17 to win by three shots. He received $600 from the $2,430 purse to raise his career earnings to $153,375 since October, 2006.
Brandon Smith finished 2nd with a 4-under par 68 followed by Ben Silverman with a 3-under par 69.
