JUPITER, Fla. – Ben Silverman of Thornhill, Ontario, posted an error-free seven under par 65 Thursday at Abacoa Golf Club for his 28th victory on the Minor League Golf Tour. Silverman birdied Nos. 2, 3, 7, 9, 10, 14, and 16, and collected $675 from the $3,405 purse. This raised his career earnings to $112,659 since he joined the MLGT in September, 2010.
Dan McCarthy of Syracuse, NY and Alex Medinis of Fort Myers, FL tied for 2nd with 5-under par 67's. Seven players tied for 4th place at 4-under par 68.
