NORTH PALM BEACH, Fla. – Sandro Piaget from Jupiter, FL survived very tough conditions to win by one stroke at North Palm Beach Country Club. Piaget carded 3 birdies and 3 bogies for an even par round of 71 and a one stroke victory over Dan McCarthy. Wind gusts up to 30 mph made for very tricky conditions on this Jack Nicklaus layout. This was Piaget's 6th victory since joining the Minor League Golf Tour in February of 2007. Piaget won his very first start back in 2007 at The Florida Club as an amateur. He won $475 for his victory here and has career earnings of $27,277.
Dan McCarthy from Syracuse, NY finished just one shot back after a 1-over par 72. McCarthy won the last two MLGT events at Jacaranda Golf Club and Ironhorse Country Club.
