WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Alfredo Adrian of Venezuela eagled the par-5 2nd and 10th holes Thursday en route to a 5-under par 67 on the Minor League Golf Tour at West Palm Beach Golf Club. He made three birdies and two bogies to go with those two eagles.
Jimmy Lytle from Ocean Ridge, FL, overcame a double bogey on his first hole and a 1-over par 36 on the front nine with a 5-under par 32 on the back nine for 68 and a solo 2nd place finish.
Adrian edged Lytle, 67-68, for his third MLGT victory – the first two coming in consecutive tournaments in May, 2012. He collected $600 from the $2,970 purse and an additional $102.88 in the skins game for a total of $702.88. He has career earnings of $23,453 since June, 2009.
Lytle, second here among 27 starters, is the MLGT career leader with 52 victories and $197,501 in MLGT career earnings.
