JUPITER, Fla. – Will Coleman of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, was the only player not to make a bogey Thursday as he won for the eighth time on the Minor League Golf Tour with a three under par 69 at Jupiter Country Club.
Coleman, 33, birdied the fourth, eighth and 13th holes as he won by a shot over four players tied for second at 70. He received $600 from the $2,660 purse plus an additional $177 in an optional bonus pool and $55 in skins for a total of $832. This raises his career earnings to $42,713 since November, 2010.
Coleman is one of the Assistant Golf Professionals at Jupiter Country Club so there was a little added pressure to defend home turf at a course he plays regularly.
