DELRAY BEACH, Fla. - Brad Adamonis from Cumberland, RI, fired a 5-under par 67 to win for the 19th time on the Minor League Golf Tour Wednesday at The Seagate Country Club.
Adamonis, 43, overcame 3 bogies with an eagle at the par-5 11th hole and 6 birdies to win by one shot. He earned $575 from the $2,745 purse.
Bo Hoag from Columbus, OH and Steve LeBrun from West Palm Beach, FL tied for 2nd one shot behind Adamonis. They each earned $425 from the main purse and $190 each from the optional bonus pool. Hoag has 6 MLGT victories, LeBrun 53 (2nd all time).
The MLGT's 49th tournament of the year drew 23 starters. Next on the schedule a 2-day event on Monday/Tuesday on the Champ course at PGA National, host course to the PGA Tour's Honda Classic.
