WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Marc Mazza of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, eagled the second extra hole to edge Justin Hicks of Wellington, FL, in Minor League Golf Tour event Wednesday at West Palm Beach Golf Club.
After they tied at six under par 66, they halved the first extra hole with par-4's. Then at the par-5 second, Hicks was looking at a four-foot birdie putt when Mazza holed his third shot from 10 yards short of the green for his seventh MLGT victory.

In regulation, Mazza made seven birdies and a bogey, Hicks six birdies. Mazza received $500 from the $1,720 purse and $70 in the skins game. Hicks, runnerup among 15 starters received $400 from the main purse and $300 from an optional bonus pool. He has 35 career MLGT wins.
Thursday’s MLGT tournament has been cancelled due to Hurricane Irma. The MLGT hopes everyone stays safe during this powerful storm.
