PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – Justin Hicks of Grosse Ile, MI, carded a little of everything enroute to victory Tuesday on the Fazio course at PGA National, his 32nd win on the Minor League Golf Tour.
He shot 68 Monday and 67 Tuesday for a 135-136 victory over Oscar Fraustro of Mexico City. In 36 holes, Hicks had an eagle at the par-5 17th hole, 10 birdies, one bogey and a double bogey at the par-4 eighth. Fraustro, runnerup among 35 starters, had rounds of 67-69 with 12 birdies and 4 bogeys.
Hicks received $1,800 from the $9,935 purse, $910 from an optional bonus pool and $85 from the skins game for a total of $2,795. Fraustro collected $1,400 from the main purse and $735 from the bonus pool for $2,135.
The fifth 2017 WEB.com Q-School Contest stays at the Fazio course at PGA National for the final 2 days. The low 4-day score for the week will have their 2017 Web.com Q-School paid for by the Minor League Golf Tour. At the halway point, Justin Hicks leads Oscar Fraustro by 1 shot with four players just 2 shots back at -7. Hicks won 2016 Web.com Q-School Contest #5 last September.

Dominick Vennari, who won his first professional event last week at Abacoa, sits in 2nd place here after 66 on day 1.
