NORTH PALM BEACH, Fla. – Brian Fister of Lexington, KY, prevailed in a playoff Monday at North Palm Beach Country Club to earn his fourth win on the Minor League Golf Tour. Fister outlasted Eric Dietrich of Cheshire, CT, after they tied at two under par 69.
In regulation, Fister had six birdies and four bogeys. He collected $550 from the $2,570 purse, raising his career earnings to $21,037 since November, 2013. Dietrich received $725, which included $450 from the main purse and $275 from an optional bonus pool. Finishing about half an hour ahead of Fister, Dietrich had five birdies and a bogey, then closed with double bogey at the par-5 18th hole. It was just his second tour start, the first a tie for fourth 12 days ago.
