PLANTATION, Fla. – Steve LeBrun of West Palm Beach, FL, fired a 7-under par 64 at Plantation Preserve Golf Course to win for a record 60th time on the Minor League Golf Tour. LeBrun, a graduate of John I. Leonard High School and Florida Atlantic University, did not make a bogey. He birdied Nos. 2, 5, 6, 10, 13, 15 and 16. He received $680 from the $3,585 purse, $300 from an optional bonus pool and $145.74 in the skins game for a total of $1,125.74.
LeBrun edged two other MLGT veterans, Justin Hicks, 43, of Wellington and Brad Adamonis, 44, of Coconut Creek, who matched 65's to tie for second among 33 starters. Hicks made three birdies on each nine. Adamonis eagled the par-5 10th hole and added four birdies. They have 37 and 19 career MLGT wins, respectively.
Plantation Preserve will host second stage of Web.com Q-School November 5-10.
