PALM BEACH, Fla. – Mike Miller of Brewster, NY, won for the second time this week on the Minor League Golf Tour, topping the field Wednesday over 27 holes at the Palm Beach Par 3 Golf Course.
Miller shot 25 on the back nine, 22 on the front and 26 the second time around the back. At eight under par 73, he won by three strokes over Blake Morris of Waterbury, CT, and Brad Adamonis of Cumberland, RI, who tied for second at 76. Morris and Adamonis had seven birdies and two bogeys apiece.
In scoring his 10th MLGT victory, Miller made 11 birdies on his first 24 holes, then finished double bogey-par-bogey on his 25th, 26th and 27th holes, Nos. 16, 17 and 18 on the scorecard. He received $700 from the $3,285 purse plus $334 from the optional bonus pool and $113.34 in the skins game for a total of $1,147.34.
Including the $1,064 he received Monday at Parkland CC, Miller has career earnings of $39,031 since February, 2016.
