WELLINGTON, Fla. – Olin Browne Jr. of Hobe Sound, FL, fired back to back rounds of 70 to win 2018 Qualifying School Contest #2 at Wellington National Golf Club.
Browne Jr's 4-under par total of 140 was good for a one shot win over Nick Latimer and two over Justin Hicks. Browne Jr., Latimer and Hicks were tied at 3-under par with two holes to play. Browne Jr. birdied the par-5 17th hole to move one ahead heading to the final hole. Hicks bogied #18 to finish at -2 and Browne Jr. and Latimer both made par finishing them at -4 and -3 respectively.
