JUPITER, Fla. - Eric Cole of Orlando, FL fired rounds of 66-66 to win 2019 Qualifying School Contest #5 at Jupiter Country Club.
Cole entered the final round one shot ahead of Piri Borja and Sunny Kim. He shot a 4-under par 31 on the front nine and built a lead of 5 that he would not relinquish. Borja birdied #17 to cut his lead to three but that would be as close as it would get.
Congratulations Eric and good luck next week in Mobile, AL at Korn Ferry Tour Q-School.
27 of the 39 players participated in the Qualifying School Contest presented by Joey D Golf creating a prize pool of $5,400. Cole won $5,000 towards the Q-School entry fee of his choice. Piri Borja won $400 to put towards his Q-School entry fee for finishing 2nd.
