Eric Cole of Orlando, FL wins 2019 Monday Qualifier Contest #8 presented by Abacoa Golf Club with a 3-event cumulative score of 201 (67-67-67). The contest consisted of the three 1-day events played this week at Abacoa GC, Wellington National GC and Atlantis CC.
Cole entered the final event one shot ahead of Piri Borja and four shots ahead of Justin Bryant. Cole birdied 4 of the first 5 and the 9th to go our in 31 and build a four shot lead with 9 to go. It would never get closer four on the back nine.
Cole wins a $1,000 bonus for his fine play this week to go compete in a Monday Qualifier on the PGA Tour or Korn Ferry Tour.
