PALM CITY, Fla. – Jake Knuese from New Berlin, WI was 2-under par through 12 holes when play was called for the day due to course flooding. He went out in 1-under par 35 on three birdies and two bogies and it turned out his birdie on the difficult par-3 12th hole was the difference. Knuese earned $550 from the $1,380 purse plus $150 from the optional bonus pool for a total of $700.

Marc Mazza from Palm Beach Gardens, FL made two birdies and one bogey on his 12 holes that counted to finish solo 2nd and earn $330.

MLGT policy states if the entire field completes at least half of the scheduled starting holes (in today's case 9 of 18) it is an official event and however many holes the final group finishes count for the event. The final group finished 12 holes so after two weather delays totaling 148 minutes, the course became unplayable and play was suspended for the day making it a 12 hole event (par 47). Furthermore, two players in the Training Division were in the skins game and since they only finished 10 holes the first 10 holes would count towards the skins game.

Next on the schedule is a 1-day event Tuesday on the east course at Indian Spring CC followed by another 1-day event on Wednesday on the east course at Jacaranda Golf Club.
