BOCA RATON. Fla. – Brant Peaper of Tequesta, FL eagled three of the five par-5's Tuesday at Osprey Point en route to his seventh win on the Minor League Golf Tour. After a birdie at the par-5 second hole, Peaper eagled Nos. 6, 12 and 18, added three birdies and a lone bogey at the par-3 14th for a nine under par 63. He received $650 from the $2,930 purse, $150 from the optional bonus pool and $133.34 from the skins game for a total of $933.34.
A stroke back at 64, second among 24 starters, was Jacob Eggers of Boone, NC, on nine birdies and one bogey. He earned $600, including $100 from the bonus pool.
The MLGT plays again Thursday at St. Lucie Trail Golf Club, then has five more 18-hole tournaments before taking its annual summer break June 19 through July 7.
