CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Sunny Kim of Queens, NY, scored his 65th victory on the Minor League Golf Tour with a four under par 68 Monday at Eagle Trace Golf Club. Kim made three birdies on each nine (Nos. 2, 3, 5, 14, 15 and 16) and a pair of bogeys on the back, at the 12th and 17th holes, to win by one shot. He earned $525 from the $1,320 purse and an additional $20 from a skins game. Thus, he maintained his position atop the MLGT’s career money list with $264,060, and for 2019 at $23,317.
The MLGT’s 68th tournament of the year drew 11 starters. The Stuart-based mini-tour plays again Tuesday at Osprey Creek in Boca Raton and Thursday at Seagate CC, Delray Beach.
