Sunny Kim of Queens, NY wins 2020 Monday Qualifier Contest #3 with a 3-event cumulative score of 199 (67-68-64). The contest consisted of the three 1-day events played this week at PGA Estate, Abacoa GC and Indian Spring CC.
Kim entered the final event one shot ahead of Rodrigo Lee and Chris Wiatr. It quickly became a two man race with Kim and Lee having good final rounds. They were both -7 through 13 holes with Kim one ahead. Lee bogied 14 which proved to be the difference. Kim won by two at -15 for 54 holes.
Kim wins a $1,000 bonus for his fine play this week to go compete in a Monday Qualifier on the PGA Tour or Korn Ferry Tour.
