Michael Graboyes of Watchung, NJ wins 2020 Monday Qualifier Contest #5 with a 3-event cumulative score of 204 (61-74-71). The contest consisted of the three 1-day events played this week at PGA Champ, Indian Spring CC and Breakers West.
Graboyes entered the final event tied with Matthew Paradis at +1 through the first two events. Paradis birdied #16 to take a one shot lead over Graboyes with two to play. He would bogey #17 and they were all square going down 18. After Paradis 2 putted for par Graboyes rolled in a 15 foot putt for biride and the win.
Because Monday's event was weather shortened to 16 holes the contest was 52 holes instead of the normal 54 holes.
Graboyes wins a $1,000 bonus for his fine play this week to go compete in a Monday Qualifier on the PGA Tour or Korn Ferry Tour.
