Ryan Linton of Lake Forest, IL wins 2020 Monday Qualifier Contest #7 with a 3-event cumulative score of 203 (69-66-68). The contest consisted of the three 1-day events played this week at Winston Trails GC, Indian Spring CC and Sandhill Crane GC.
Linton entered the final round just one shot in front of Zaback. After a lot of birdies exchanged Linton found himself 2 shots ahead of Zaback with three holes to go. A birdie bogey exchange on the par-5 16th expanded Linton's lead to 4 shots with two to play. It would end up being a 6 shot margin of victory.
Linton wins a $1,000 bonus for his fine play this week to go compete in a Monday Qualifier on the PGA Tour or Korn Ferry Tour.
