Leandro Marelli of Casilda, Argentina wins 2020 Monday Qualifier Contest #8 with a 3-event cumulative score of 206 (65-68-73). The contest consisted of the three 1-day events played this week at CC of Coral Springs, Melreese CC and Atlantic National GC.
Marelli entered the final round with a four shot lead over Sunny Kim. Both Marelli and Kim would have rough days leaving the door open for someone to come from behind. James Driscoll shot 67 at Atlantic National and would finish at -5 for the week. Marelli fell back to -6 after bogies at 12, 13 and 15 but would par the final 3 holes to earn a one shot victory and the $1k bonus.
Marelli wins a $1,000 bonus for his fine play this week to go compete in a Monday Qualifier on the PGA Tour or Korn Ferry Tour.
