Albin Choi of Toronto, Canada wins 2021 Monday Qualifier Contest #6 presented by Abacoa Golf Club with a 3-event cumulative score of 206 (70-65-71). The contest consisted of the three 1-day events played this week at Fountains West, Abacoa GC and Wellington National GC.
Choi entered the final round one shot behind leader Mike Kartrude. Kartrude was 2 shots ahead with 4 holes to go but errant tee shots on 15 and 18 would prove to be the difference. Both would end up OB leading to two double bogies.
Choi wins a $1,000 bonus for his fine play this week to go compete in a Monday Qualifier on the PGA Tour or Korn Ferry Tour.
