PALM CITY, Fla. – Gavin Hall of Pittsford, NY, scored a four under par 68 Friday for his seventh victory on the Minor League Golf Tour. Hall, 25, sandwiched birdies at the eighth and ninth holes with a bogey at the par-4 fourth and an eagle at the par-5 12th at The Fox Club. He received $760 from the $3,600 purse, raising his career earnings to $20,823 since September, 2017.
Tied for second at 69 among the 27 starters were Nick Sorkin of Rockville. MD, on three birdies, and Thomas Levet of Paris, France, who made four birdies and a bogey. Each collected $530 from the main purse. Levet got an additional $183 from an optional bonus pool.
The first Major of the year starts Monday at The Country Club of Coral Springs.
