WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Josh Hart of Jupiter, FL made five straight birdies on the inward nine Wednesday and it led to his 15th victory on the Minor League Golf Tour. On the front side of the Estate course at PGA National, Hart made the turn in 33 with three birdies and a bogey at the par-5 ninth hole. Then he birdied Nos. 10 through 14 and the 16th to win by three shots.
He earned $1,050 from the $6,595 purse and an additional $217 from an optional bonus pool for a total of $1,267. This raised his career earnings to $73,283 since February, 2008.
The fifth tournament of the MLGT’s 18th season drew 51 starters.
The first Major of 2021 starts in just 5 days. It will be staged at the Country Club of Coral Springs and will feature a $10k first prize.
