WELLINGTON, Fla. - Raoul Menard from Ange-Gardien, Quebec made nine birdies en route to setting the course record at Wellington National Golf Club with a 7-under par 65. Menard's 2nd win was worth $1,585 including a $350 skin and $235 from the bonus pool.
The previous course record was held by Wellington National's teaching professional David Alpeter at 66.
A three way tie for second at 68 included Ben VanScoyk, Matt Hill and Korn Ferry Tour player George Cunningham. Cunningham is in town for next week's Korn Ferry Tour event in Lakewood Ranch.
