LAKE WORTH, Fla. - Eric Beringer from Philadelphia, PA stood on the 5th tee box at +1 after an early bogey on the par-5 3rd hole. He would then play the final 14 holes in 8 under par and his 64 on the West course was good for a one shot win over playing partner Mike Kartrude.
Beringer would make 6 birdies, an eagle and no bogies en route to his 6th win on the MLGT. It was worth $800 from the $3,615 purse plus $232 from the bonus pool and $190 skin for a total of $1,222.
