PALM CITY, Fla. - Sunny Kim from Queens, NY and Palm Beach Gardens, FL showed Tuesday why he is the MLGT leader in wins and money. His 11-under par total of 131 (67-66) was 5 shots better than the field. He earned $1,700 from the $8,280 purse for his 81st win raising his career earnings to 317,072.
Adam Ball from Richmond, VA and Domenico Geminiani from Lugo, Italy tied for 2nd at 136. Each earned $1,100 from the main purse plus $380 each from the bonus pool. Geminiani added a skin for an extra $51.43.
Congratulations to Olin Browne Jr. for making a hole in one on the par-3 6th in the final round. His 7 iron from 184 flew right in the hole.
Patrick Allgeier won $150 in the 2nd day shootout open to players outside the money after day one.
