Ben VanScoyk fires 68 at Wellington National to win on his 26th birthday
VanScoyk went out in 37 but came home in 31 for a one shot win over 3 players

WELLINGTON, Fla. - Ben VanScoyk from Grand Rapids, MI didn't get off to the start he wanted to with a 1-over par 37 on the front nine but turned it on the back and came home in 5-under par 31 for 68 and his 2nd win on the MLGT. This one worth $1,025 from the $6,376 purse. Today's win felt a little more special because it's Ben's 26th birthday. Happy Birthday!

Justin Peters, Peter Bradbeer, Domenico Geminiani and David Perkins tied for 2nd just one shot behind VanScoyk at 3-under par 69. Each earned $540 from the purse. Peters, Bradbeer and Geminiani added $199 more from the bonus pool and Bradbeer added a $180 skin bringing his total to $919.

A big thank you to Wellington National Golf Club and it's membership for hosting this event before the Honda Classic Pre Q on Feb 17 and the Puerto Rico Pre Q on Feb 24 giving the players an opportunity to see the course under tournament conditions.
