PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Raul Pereda from Mexico fired rounds of 69-68-69 (206) to win 2022 Qualifying School Contest #3 on the Palmer course at PGA National Golf Club.
Pereda began the final round tied with Ricardo Celia and took the lead early on the back nine with birdies at 10,12 and 15. He had a two shot lead playing the final hole. A bogey on the last didn't change anything and he finished one shot better than Celia and Chris Nido.
Congratulations Raul and good luck this year at Q-School.
25 of the 43 players chose to enter the optional $200 Qualifying School Contest. Pereda earned the $5k bonus to use for his Q-School entry this fall.
