PALM CITY, Fla. - Domenico Geminiani from Lugo, Italy went wire to wire to win for the 5th time. His 9-under par total of 135 (66-69) was good for a one shot win over hard charging Justin Peters. Peters started the day 5 behind Geminiani and carded an impressive final round 65 to put the pressure on.
Geminiani won $2,300 from the $15,515 purse plus $470 from the bonus pool and a $124 skin for a total of $2,894. He also won 2022 Qualifying School Contest #1 presented by Full Process Golf and the $5k bonus to go towards his Q-School entry fee.
In a second day shootout Tuesday among players who scored 75 or higher Tuesday, Andrew Stock won $177 with a 2nd round score of 71.

Jake Scott is closest to Geminiani at 68 followed by Jorge Garcia and Alejandro Soto at 69.

There is an optional $50 2nd day shootout for players at 75 and higher. 100% of the entry goes into the purse and the top 33% and ties will earn a check. If you’d like to participate you must sign up and pay online before the first tee time on Wednesday.
