JUPITER, Fla. - Local pro Logan Brown defends home turf, winning by two with 65 at Abacoa Golf Club. Brown is one of the Assistant Professionals at Abacoa Golf Club where today's event was held. He overcame a bogey on the 3rd hole with birdies on 4,5,6,9,13,14 and 16 for a 6-under par 65.
Brown's first win on the MLGT was worth $1,000 plus a $72 skin for a total of $1,072.
Travis Trace was also -6 on the final hole but his 2nd shot found the water which led to a ouble bogey and a share of 2nd with Davis Lamb.
Today's event was the second of three 1-day events this week that make up 2022 Monday Qualifying School Contest #4 presented by Abacoa Golf Club. The professional with the lowest 3-day cumulative score will earn a $1k bonus to compete in a Monday Qualifier on the PGA Tour or Korn Ferry Tour.
